An American Heritage Jackstock was first bred by George Washington from a large donkey given by King Carlos the third of Spain named the Royal Gift in the late 1700's. Today the Livestock Conservancy has placed this breed on the Critical list. Tobias was purchased from Deb Collins Kidwell's Donkey and Mule Farm of Martin Tennessee in February 2018. His Sire is Genesis who produced Lake Nowhere Wonder 2018 World Champion Green English Performance mule at Bishop Mule Days in Bishop California. His Grand Sire is The Preacher, Great Grand Sire is Bully Boy and his Great Great Grand Sire is Jen Jack. Tobias has a gentle personality, is inquisitive and is very people oriented. Tobias sired his first foal June 2021.
